Regulatory Compliance

In this position, the incumbent is accountable for assisting the Risk and Safety Managers to maintain the SHE Management System and Industrial Compliance. He/she will be assisting with Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Compliance Audits, Incident Investigations, Project Risk Identifications and Risk Assessments.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Development of procedures and standards to ensure compliance to local legislation.
- Ensure Industrial Regulatory Watch is in place.
- Implementation of the compliance program.
- Investigation of non--compliance events.
- Interface with regulatory authorities.
- Compliance Auditing of all facilities as per GP 01, (Industrial Regulatory Compliance.
- Liaise with all employees on the plant with regards to all safety issues and develop a culture of compliance, compiling statistics and assisting with Safety Reports.
- Assist with Safety Training, internal Auditor on SHE Management System.
- Control/follow-up on incidents/accidents/Near Misses.
- Coordinating Dangerous Goods certificates with branches.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Technical or Safety qualification.
- Bonus to have 1-2 years industrial experience (preferably in the gas industry).
- Ideally knowledge of OHSAct, NEMA, AQA, Municipal Bylaws, National Legislation Framework.
- HSE & Industrial Risk Management knowledge.
