**HOTEL MAINTENANCE MANAGER** required to take care of a **WILD COAST (EASTERN CAPE) HOTEL INFRASTRUCTURE** (buildings, grounds, electricity, water & sewerage plant.)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Identify and oversee hotel infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety
- Manage maintenance teams (staff. technicians & contractors)
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Organise, repair, installation and renovation projects to ensure our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike, in a manner that does not disturb guests
- Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets standards
- Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel buildings, rooms, grounds and facilities
- Plan and oversee renovations and construction
- Act fast to resolve emergency issues (power / water / refrigeration outages)
- Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Manage spares stock and equipment
- Maintain budgets. expenses and activity logs

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

- Proven experience as a Hotel / Hospitality Maintenance Manager
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, water purification, sewer systems; hotel / hospitality industry experience is a plus
- Computer literate and experienced in administrative processes (budgeting, performance management)
- Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills
- Minimum maintenance diploma or equivalent qualification; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management is advantageous
- Valid Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) is a plus
- Valid drivers license
- Execute responsibilities according to hospitality requirements timelines
- Valid references essential

REMUNERATION:

- Negotiable, dependent on experience
