Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive actuarial analyses to assess the financial stability and profitability of life insurance products for various clients.

Develop and maintain pricing models, valuation models, and financial projections tailored to client needs.

Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor actuarial services to meet those needs.

Ensure client compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Prepare and present actuarial reports to client senior management and stakeholders.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and contribute to their professional development.

Stay current with emerging actuarial trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial consulting policies, procedures, and standards.

Support clients in the development and implementation of new life insurance products.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in actuarial analysis, risk management, or related fields within the life insurance industry, preferably within a consulting environment.

Professional actuarial qualifications (e.g., ASA, FSA, FIA, or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of actuarial principles and life insurance products.

Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17).

Proficiency in actuarial software and data analytics tools (e.g., Prophet, SAS, R).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a consulting team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

Experience with financial modeling and predictive analytics.

Prior experience in a senior or lead actuary role within a consulting firm.

Familiarity with reinsurance and investment strategies.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: R350,00 - R600,00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
