**Job Title: Collections Head of Operations**

**Reports To: CEO**

**Direct Reports: Collections Operations Managers, Head of Campaign Strategy**

**JOB PURPOSE**
- Responsible for the overall operations of Alefbet Collections and Recoveries that includes 3 entities, namely Shapiro Shaik Defries and Associates (SSDA), ITC Business Administrators (ITCBA) and Metropolitan Revenue Collections (MRC).
- Responsible for developing and implementing effective processes, policies, and technologies to ensure optimal collections performance, improve cash flow, and minimise risk.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Matric plus Business Management Degree or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- 10+ years senior operations management experience in a large Call Centre at a debt collection company or financial services of which 5 years must be leading a collections company with +400 employees.
- Good understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing etc.
- Sound understanding of collections KPAs and KPIs within an account delinquency life cycle.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operations metrics.
- Strong understanding of debt collection laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience with collections software and data analytics tools. Excalibur 4 is an advantage.
- Working experience in Advanced MS Office suite.
- Proven track record in driving operational excellence.
