**Purpose of Job**:

- The person will be responsible for operating a brake press bending machine that shape and form the metal sheet into parts or products.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Sets up and operate a bending machine to bend metal structural shapes.

2. Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.

3. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.

4. Document work completed.

5. Position and clamp end stops on a machine to set the specified location of the bend.

6. Read and interpret specifications to produce parts or products.

7. Troubleshoot, perform corrective action, or minor repairs.

**The Following Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience will be required**:
u Grade 12 and related qualifications.

u 4 years of experience on brake press bending machine.

u Good understanding of industry quality requirements.

u Good understanding of dimensions.

u Attention to fine detail is very crucial.

u Technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.

u Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.

u Must know different metal materials.

u Must be familiar with measuring equipment.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
