**Roles / Responsibilities & Job Description**:
**Qualifications/Experience Required**:

- Appropriate post graduate degree (minimum: Honours degree), in Environmental Science/ Environmental Management or related field.
- Registered EAP with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of South Africa (EAPASA)
- Thorough understanding of South African environmental legislation and a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in undertaking environmental authorisation processes;
- Excellent communication and report writing skills (English) (however proficiency in Afrikaans in addition to English is advantageous);
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with meticulous record keeping ability;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure;
- Ability to work across disciplines and across industries;
- Liaising with clients, specialists, members of the public, as well as authorities;
- Self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently;
- Strong values - ethics and integrity;
- Experience with renewable energy projects, ESG, and/or an allied specialist sub-discipline (e.g. aquatic ecology, terrestrial biodiversity, climate change etc) will be an advantage.
