Toy Kingdom is striving to become Africa’s most loved and most customer centric toy retail chain

that provides a magical environment bringing play to life.

We are looking for a creative retail Visual Merchandiser to increase sales, attract and retain the

customer’s attention and to provide an excellent in-store experience. The goal is to use visual

merchandising to convert window shoppers into prospects, drive branding and sales objectives and

maximize profitability.

This position has a direct report into the Store Manager and will suit an individual who is strategic

thinker and has a passion for retail.

**Key deliverables**:

- Understanding and implementing the Visual Merchandising (VM) standards across the entire store layout.
- Ensuring that all key campaigns are launched to the highest standard as per the guided brief received.
- Ensure that images are taken and shared with the National Visual Merchandise Manager for approval.
- Constantly looking in store to improve on standards, revise layouts to better fit the Customers’ needs and to highlight concerns that could affect Customers’ experience in store.
- Focus on improving trade densities as guided by Head Office through various projects highlighted by the team.
- Ensuring that all Marketing collateral and material is stored and kept safe in the stockroom
- Oversee the implementation of the weekly store brief.
- Greet and charm every customer coming through our doors.
- Promote and sell products.
- Demonstrate key products.

Visual Merchandising Co-ordinator & Store Manager

**Qualifications and Core Competencies**:

- Grade 12 or Equivalent certificate
- A minimum of 1 year experience in Retail is required
- Visual Merchandiser would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creative and innovative thinker
- Must have an eye for detail and merchandising
- Personal CV
- Senior Certificate
