We are seeking an experienced grill cook to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cooking meats, vegetables, and other foods using various grilling techniques
- Preparing ingredients and marinades according to recipe guidelines
- Cleaning and maintaining the grill and other kitchen equipment
- Following food safety regulations and ensuring the kitchen is a clean, organized and safe environment
- Maintaining an inventory of ingredients and notifying management when supplies are low
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to execute menu items in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure that all orders are prepared to customer specifications
- Ensure proper cooking times and temperatures are followed
- Provide assistance with other kitchen tasks as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 7 years experience in a grill cook or similar role

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Knowledge of grilling techniques and methods
- Be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
- Be proficient in basic knife skills, have knowledge of food safety regulations
- Be able to follow recipes accurately

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 20kg
- Ability to withstand exposure to heat and humidity

Working conditions:

- This job requires working in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment with exposure to extreme heat. The grill cook would need to work outside normal business hours and on weekends and public holidays. This position will require standing for extended periods of time.

Pay: From R5 000,00 per month
