Duties/Pligte
- Positioning Stellenbosch University as a tertiary institution of choice;
- Providing outstanding customer service;
- Disseminating information relating to our academic offering to assist prospective students and their parents to make an informed decision;
- Coordinating on-campus activities for school groups and individual visitors;
- Marketing Stellenbosch University through presentations on various in-person and online platforms which can include, but is not limited to, information sessions at schools to learners, teachers and parents, and participating in programme fairs (career exhibitions);
- Effectively managing relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders;
- Compiling monthly reports on activities, reach and impact;
- Conducting market and marketing research to provide detailed insight on the behaviour of specific market segments and aligning it to global best practices.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Relevant bachelor's degree;
- At least two years' working experience in a similar environment;
- Full proficiency in two of South Africa's official languages (one being English);
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
- The proven ability to present comfortably to large and smaller audiences;
- Good organization and administrative skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- The ability to perform under pressure;
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- A valid driver's license;
- Willingness and availability to travel often and to work irregular hours when necessary;
- Full computer literacy.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling
- The ability to proficiently use Afrikaans as a means to confidently communicate;
- Knowledge of and experience in digital marketing;
- Experience in marketing and recruiting for a Higher Education institution;
- Knowledge of the University and its internal systems.
