We are looking to recruit a suitably experienced/qualified Internal Auditor to join our CIB:Transactional Banking Audit team.

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities
- Keep up to date with key regulations, policies and procedures relating to the CIB environment and advise the audit team accordingly.
- Improve Transactional Banking knowledge (i.e. general and technical) through self-learning, external workshops or training for professional qualification.
- Drive efficiencies and in-depth coverage through the use of data analytics and other process improvement initiatives.
- Share knowledge with audit colleagues and peers in the business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key audit contacts on each audit by attending continuous stakeholder meetings. In addition, engage closely with stakeholders during assignments and encourage open discussion and interaction with business on the risks associated in their environment.
- Present effectively at stakeholder meetings and forums to share knowledge and information including methodology, standards, changes and new developments with business stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Develop an in depth knowledge of the audit methodology, by attending training sessions and using knowledge gained during audits, use this proactively in executing audit activities.
- Support the Audit team in the identification of risks to be tested by participating in audit planning sessions.

**Experience**:

- Governance, Risk and Controls experience with a focus on CIB environment.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements pertinent to CIB products and services e.g. FAIS, FICA, etc.
- Strong report writing experience
- Exposure to Audit Management systems including use of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs)
- Exposure to data analytics tools

Minimum Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in auditing, risk management or governance and control with a banking environment
- B Degree (Internal Auditing, Accounting, Commercial, Economics or Statistics);
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)/ Chartered Accountant (CA)

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
