**Synopsis**
We have Operational Risk Manager position to support the management of wealth division in setting and executing actions managing all aspects of risk within the business units of Wealth Division. This includes the identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring, reporting of risk, and the identification of key controls to mitigate risk. The incumbent will promote and drive a strong risk culture and engage with various assurance functions, both internal and external to Wealth
**Qualification and Experience**
- Qualifications in Risk Management, Operational risk, Wealth management / Stockbroking & investment.
- Minimum 6 years wealth management experience essential.
- Solid knowledge of wealth management operational processes and technologies.
- Insight into all regulatory requirements related to wealth management.
- Understanding of risk management concepts and measurements.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to source, use and where required, manage all appropriate resources that will enhance the management of risk.
- Composed and confident to interact with Senior Executives.
- Strong time management skills and ability to comply with strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Formulate and implement strategies to mitigate the key business risks in Wealth division.
- Guide the management in the identification, assessment, management, monitoring, and reporting of risk within the respective business units of organizational Wealth.
- Conduct regular risk control self-assessments within the respective business units.
- Integrate second line risk deliveries within the Wealth overall risk management function to ensure effective utilization of all resources.
- Where applicable, develop and implement effective key risk indicators and controls.
- Where applicable, attend and drive relevant operational, project and combined assurance or governance meetings.
- Ensure the effective implementation and adherence to risk management policies and frameworks.
- Collect, analyze, and report operational losses in the responsible areas, perform trend and root cause analysis.
- Recommend value add risk management solutions to reduce the risk of re-occurrence.
- Monitor and assist with successful closure of internal and external audit findings.
- Maintain a risk management philosophy and culture within the organization through awareness campaigns and training initiatives.
- Review and maintain framework for delegation of authority and system access levels across the respective business units.
