**The IIE's Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg campus has a vacancy for a Part-time Supervisor within the School of Education for the below module**:

- Teaching Experience (Intermediate Phase)

**Competencies required**:

- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Open to training and development
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour’s degree or
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)
- The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a focus on teaching at the Intermediate Phase/ Senior Phase/ Further Education and Training band.

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- School teaching experience in Intermediate Phase is required.

**Working Conditions**:

- Please note that this is a Part-time role with Supervisors evaluating student teachers during their teaching experience in the classroom setting.
- Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
