Full Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic, multi-disciplined Photographer to join our Marketing team The Photographer works in partnership with the Stylist and Art Director to create beautiful, eye-catching, high-quality images of food, products and lifestyle settings for use in digital and other marketing channels.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Planning shoots collaboratively with Stylist and Art Director, including agreeing on lighting treatments, angles and framing prior to the shoot, and working with Stylist and relevant teams to arrange shoot logistics
- Capture and select photographs on set / location, in line with the brief and brand guidelines
- Sourcing, maintaining and managing photography and lighting equipment
- Editing photographs to remove blemishes and improve lighting
- Maintaining photography archives across the brands
- Supporting creation of video content, where relevant

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualification & Experience**
- 4+ years as a professional photographer, using digital cameras
- Creative portfolio showcasing previous work / campaigns

**Skills & Competencies**
- Must Have_
- High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other photo editing software
- Ability to switch between multiple photography styles, specifically food, product and lifestyle photography, both in studio and on location
- Technical expertise with digital cameras and lighting equipment, with creative, technical and instinctual expertise in framing, lighting, etc
- Technical understanding of working with a variety of lighting conditions and treatments
- Trend conscious, in touch with pop culture, and up to date with all new developments in the food industry
- Creativity and strong conceptual skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Collaboration and strong communication skills
- Time management (able to work quickly and accurately, especially on food and lifestyle shoots)
- Own vehicle, for travel to off-site shoots
- Advantageous_
- Experience with shooting video content

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are required to wear a mask, curbside pickup available, common surface are sanitized regularly, vaccination requirements etc.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- shooting video content: 4 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
