- Experience in supervision of a production shift
- Familiar with the BCOEA
- Mechanical knowledge / experience
- Strong supervisory skills and experience in having oversight of a team
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Experience in quality control
- Stable CV with contactable references
- Good communication skills, pro-active and hands on

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Accountability for leadership in critical production areas during shift
- Ensure that production and quality standards are maintained in each of the production sectors defined
- Ensure adequate raw material is available for required shift production
- Ensure plant and machinery is in full working order and is available and functioning as required
- Limit costs caused through poor waste management or stock use
- Meet production targets per shift
- Check daily setting of machines
- Cost control
- Maintenance of machinery - liaise with maintenance division to ensure that all machinery is in good working order, assist with future planning of machinery for budget purposes
- Report any non-conformances
