The IIE (Pty) Ltd is the registered provider of higher education which is delivered through the following educational brands: Vega, Varsity College, Rosebank College, IIEMSA and IIE HSM.

The Independent Institute of Education’s Central Academic Team (CAT) is responsible for the academic leadership and governance of the work done at the brands while each brand is managed as a business entity by its own divisional management team.

This position is within the central IIE academic team. The IIE, as the registered provider has ultimate responsibility for registration, curriculum, delivery, assessment, and certification of all education on sites of delivery as well as for relationships with external partners particularly in the regulatory and accreditation arena.

**The IIE’s Central Academic Team have a vacancy for an Teaching & Learning Intern at The IIE’s offices based in Sandton.**

**Report to**:
The HR Intern will report directly to the Relevant Departmental Manager.

**Job Purpose**:
**Key Performance Areas**:
**Teaching & Learning Intern**
- Work with a cross-functional team to complete an internship project as assigned by your Line Manager.
- Attain on-the-job work experience aligned with your qualification and career aspirations.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
- Support teams in project work.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must have completed the qualification at NQF7 (B.A,B.Com, B.Ed, BSc in Higher Education or Relevant Field)
- Have not worked full time (more than 1 year) in their field of study.
- Should be based in the city of hire.
- Good grades will be an added advantage.
