**Marine Operator**:
**Job Responsibilities**:

- **Own and drive schedule reliability, port productivity, bunker optimisation, cost reduction.**:

- **Manage and execute berth planning**:

- **Deliver industry leading schedule reliability by proactively managing schedule recoveries.**:

- **Coordinate and drive contingencies with other teams in the LOC.**:

- **Drive and enforce contract compliance and performance management.**:

- **Develop, monitor, improve, and benchmark operations processes through process confirmations.**:

- **Drive down operational costs**:

- **Align daily operations execution to the company’s overall operational strategies.**:

- **Work with Network Design and Commercial teams to provide efficient and reliable products for our customers in line with our position as a market leader.**:

- **Manage emergency situations, incidents and contingency plans, ensuring network integrity and stability.**

**Skills**:

- Be a self-starter
- Operate with a sense of urgency in everything that they do
- Have strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Work well in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Have good analytical skills
- Have a continuous improvement mind-set
- Be proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Have recognised experience in liner shipping and / or terminal operations would be an advantage.
- Have necessary systems knowledge (GSIS OPS, COMS2, Cockpit, MSPS) will be an advantage.
