**Responsibilities** **Key responsibilities for the role include**: - Local Currency EFT payments- Compile and load daily payments for SSS on to SAP eft system.- Compare daily remittance to payment proposal to ensure all payments were effected correctly.- Collate daily cashflow requirements for SSS payments and send to Pioneer Corporate Treasury office.- Collate invoices and approvals for payments over R60m to be sent to local corporate Treasury office to affect payments on our behalf. - Foreign currency & Derivative payments- Ensure that local banks (HSBC, Absa and Standard Bank) are compensated for all Maturing FEC’s/Deals- Upload foreign payment requests onto HSBC banking platform.- Ensure all required documents are submitted and all FEC payment requests are executed- Coordinate with various business units to ensure correct documentation is presented for foreign payments.- Ensure sufficient currency available for upcoming payments. Prepare requests for additional currency requests from Pepsi Corporate Treasury- Compile weekly Safex Futures trades and send to Pepsi Corporate Treasury to upload on Chatham System - Hedge accounting: - Update key Hedge accounting spreadsheets to assist the Control Manager with the Month end close.- Prepare summary of movements in Foreign currency bank account for posting on SAP.- Ensure all foreign currency transactions are translated at the correct rate on SAP.- Park journal entries related to daily safex futures mtm movement.- Ensure M2M movements are accounted for correctly and balances corresponds to the safex bank statement. - Rice & Wheat Costings - .- Verify the accuracy of the raw material inventory costings by ensuring the correct foreign exchange translation rate is used.- Ensure Rand per ton of rice and wheat is correctly loaded on SAP. **Other duties include**: - EF Procurement pack- Compile monthly income and Pool Statement figures.- Update Safex interest and fees notes as contained in the procurement pack.- Verify Rice raw material costing. Ensure correct translation rate is used and that r/ton ic correctly loaded on SAP.- Calculate Wheat raw material costing, once approved, check r/ton is correctly uploaded on SAP. **Qualifications** **Qualifications & knowledge**- Excellent communication and presentation skills that enable a smooth execution of all related processes.- Computer literate- Advanced Excel, and Word)- - Diploma (complete or partially complete). - or equivalent, advantageous- Online Banking-advantageous- Understanding of derivatives and SARB regulations- Adaptable to multi-cultural and multi-national Environment**Experience required**Minimum of 5 years** - accounting/finance experience.- - Forex & Derivatives experience crucial.- SAP/BI experience advantageous. **“PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
