-The main purpose of this position is to manage strategic vendor partnerships for Business Solutions and Technology (BSTD) to enable effective relationships, performance on delivery and risk management. -Detailed Description - Develop and maintain the vendor engagement framework, which will inform the purpose, timing and stakeholders to such engagements. - Provide guidance and assistance to BSTD stakeholders in relation to supplier relationship, performance, risks and contract performance management. -- Ensure effective management of strategic vendor performance and partnering - through period performance reviews, risk assessments and other reporting. - Engage with external experts in providing value-added services/advise towards driving more effective contracting on strategic products licensing and support contracts. -- Report regularly on supplier performance, risk management, supplier spending patterns and provide recommendations on areas of improvement. -- Manage senior level collaboration meetings between vendors and BSTD/Procurement stakeholders as per the engagement framework to drive value propositions and effective service delivery. -- Plan and execute vendor events based on agreed timelines that will inform BSTD and its client on vendor value propositions and emerging technologies. -- Conduct market analysis on vendors/partners performance and risk as well as potential vendors with value added services aligned to the Information and Technology Strategy. -- Monitor, analyse and report the information and technology spend on the top suppliers, with reference to cost efficiencies, categories of spend and the risk associated with it. -Job Requirements - a Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Commerce, Law, Finance, Business or an equivalent qualification; and -- five to seven years’ experience in vendor management. -Additional requirements include: -- industry, organisational and business awareness; -- continued learning and/or professional development knowledge and skill; -- quality assurance knowledge and skill; -- continuous improvement knowledge and skill; -- contract management and associated knowledge and skill; -- business continuity knowledge to mitigate vendor continuity and support risks; -- sourcing knowledge and skill; -- supplier relationship management knowledge and skill; and -- basic financial management knowledge and skill. -How To Apply -All interested parties are invited to apply. - All available vacancies will be visible. - Login: - Is this your first visit to our Job Site? > Register today (Ensure that you include all your skills and qualifications during the registration process.); or - Already registered on our Job Site? > Already registered? > Login here. -- Select ‘Date posted’ > ‘Last 3 weeks’ (in the dropdown menu). -- Select the appropriate IRC number to view the full advertisement. - **The SARB offers remuneration and benefits commensurate with the level of the position and in line with the market.
