Babylonstoren has an exciting new position for an Olive Assistant to join the olive team.

**Minimum requirements**:
A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (Matric / Grade 12)
- 2 - 3 years’ relevant experience in an olive factory or food processing environment
- A valid forklift licence will be to your advantage
- Good comprehension and ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of olive oil and table olive production processes
- Willingness to work overtime, as well as night shift, and over weekends when operationally required

**Duties**:

- Execution of general olive plant activities
- Comply with food safety, health and safety, and housekeeping requirements
- Take part in our workplace efficiency program and comply with housekeeping
- Assist with bottling and labelling activities
- Forklift driver for the store area
