Project Manager

Your main duties will include the following:
**FACTORY MODULAR UNIT PRODUCTION LINES**:

- Ensure smooth operations over the complete production line.
- Ensure all quality standards are met.
- Ensure that the production is cost effective by minimizing wastage.
- Ensure that the production is always on schedule.
- Suggest, build and maintain production jigs to increase production staff efficiency.
- Maintain and fix production equipment and vehicles.
- Plumb modular units and complete any other specific jobs.
- Carpentry of all extras required in modular units.
- Electrical of all extras required in modular units.
- Assist Production Manager in supervising and training staff.
- Supervise and motivate all workers.
- Assist in the production of modular units if necessary.
- Any other tasks assigned to you during course of employment.

**OFFSITE MODULAR UNIT PRODUCTION AND MAINTANCE**:

- Ensure smooth operations over the complete offsite production line.
- Ensure all quality standards are met.
- Ensure that the production is cost effective by minimizing wastage.
- Ensure that the production is always on schedule.
- Maintain and fix production equipment and vehicles.
- Maintain and fix stock units and equipment.
- Maintain and fix everything in the storage yards as well as branches.
- Maintain and fix transportation trailers.
- Ensure all branch maintenance is kept up.
- Ensure all unit refurbs are always to standard and up to date.
- Travel to on-site installations and oversee a team to complete the installation of the modular units to a good quality standard where needed.
- Plumb modular units and complete any specific jobs.
- Weld modular units.
- Carpentry of all extras required in modular units.
- Electrical of all extras required in modular units.
- Assist the offsite Team Leader in supervising and training staff where necessary.
- Assist in the offsite production of modular units if necessary.
- Supervise and motivate all workers.
- Any other tasks assigned to you during course of employment.

**STOCK CONTROL**:

- Ensure all stock received is receipted in.
- Ensure all stock received in, is to quality requirements.
- Ensure all stock distributed is receipted out.
- Ensure all stock distributed is to quality requirements prior to distribution.
- Ensure factory is packed as per stock packing plan.
- Load and unload stock from trucks and containers.
- Any other tasks assigned to you during course of employment.

**PE DISTRIBUTION HUB**:

- Maintenance and supervision of operation of machines in the distribution HUB.
- Loading and packing truck per approved order to the various factories.
- Unpacking of imported goods and safeguarding these goods (Packing and counts).
- Ensure production plans are met and targets met.
- Ensure all quantities are as per orders.
- Provide training to all staff members where required.
- Provide follow up training to all staff members.
- Ensure smooth operations over the complete production line.
- Ensure all quality standards are met.
- Ensure that the production is cost effective by minimizing wastage.
- Ensure that the production is always on schedule.
- Any other tasks assigned to you during course of employment.

**EMPLOYEES**:

- Post recruiting adverts, review CV’s, set up and conduct interviews for all open positions under your control.
- Ensure all staff under you are efficiently and effectively utilized.
- Consult with the National Project Manager if you feel the need to increase or decrease the staff compliment where necessary.
- Reduce overtime where possible by making sure adequate planning is done.
- Any other tasks assigned to you during the course of employment.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION REQUIRES WORKING OVER-TIME WHERE NECESSARY.**

Salary R28 000,00 per month.
