**INTRODUCTION**:
Komatsu South Africa is seeking a Senior Administrator to join this dynamic organisation. The Senior Planning Administrator is a critical role within the Remanufacturing Division, responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate planning and coordination of component-related activities. This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills. The Senior Planning Administrator will play a key part in optimising workflow, maintain inventory, and supporting the overall operational effectiveness of the division.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Diploma (NQF 6) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
**YEARS OF EXPERIENCE**:
- 2 years’ experience in a planning or administrative role, preferably within a component or heavy equipment environment.
- Strong understanding of component repair and maintenance processes.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software and tools.
**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, especially Excel.
- Experience in using ERP systems.
- SAP (Planning, work orders, quotations).
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- **Ensuring on-time repairs and rebuilds of component equipments**:
- Creates detailed schedules, manages resources, plans for contingencies, and coordinates quality control.
- **Maintaining inventory accuracy and stock availability**:
- Tracks inventory, forecasts demand, optimizes stock levels, and manages component locations.
- **Improving planning and scheduling efficiency**:
- Analyzes processes, implements improvements, and ensures clear communication and coordination.
- **Delivering accurate and timely reports**:
- Collects and analyzes data, generates reports, and maintains accurate documentation.
- **Reducing component downtime**:
- Plans proactive maintenance, ensures rapid response to breakdowns, conducts root cause analysis, and utilizes monitoring tools like Komtrax.
