Responsible for supporting the operational management of investment funds managed by Edge Growth Ventures. Accountable for the reporting and delivery of operations, finance, compliance, stakeholder management, and legal procedures to ensure seamless business delivery of fund operations and administration.

The Fund Operations Administrator is responsible for ensuring that Fund operations as a whole run effectively and efficiently. The role is further responsible for continuous process improvement and analysis and a drive to deliver more with less including the implementation of projects outside of the day-to-day scope of the operations team such as best practice trend analysis, specialised fund administration, process optimisation, and policy training.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma with strong problem solving and quantitative underpinning (e.g. Commerce, Business Science)
- Business Operations, Financial Management, Compliance and / or Project Management training
- Project Management qualification advantageous

**Experience**:

- 1 - 3 years in financial services sector operations, finance, project management or business consulting.
- Client and stakeholder relationship management experience favorable.

**Core Activities**:
**Financial Administration**:

- Administer monthly invoicing and payments processes
- Load monthly payments on bank for authorisation
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Support financial administration processes and rhythms including annual budget, audit, tax and reporting
- Administer financial processes and online banking profiles
- Manage FICA requirements on bank accounts

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Manage stakeholder enquiries and redirect them to relevant team members where necessary.
- Draft and issue Fund reports and communications
- Manage professional stakeholder communications (written and verbal)
- Draft and issue quarterly investor statements
- Engage key stakeholders via ad-hoc communications
- Support capital raising processes and initiatives

**Operational Administration**:

- Administer relationships with fund suppliers including; finance, legal, marketing, travel, events, catering.
- Conduct supplier service performance reviews
- Coordinate marketing collateral and online media
- Ensure that the business technology infrastructure supports delivery on business objectives

**Legal and Compliance Administrator**:

- Coordinate the signing, filing and storage of electronic and physical documents.
- Coordinate legal administration and regulatory compliance related matters
- Support annual compliance rhythms and certifications
- Coordinate compliance reporting and communications
- Support the administration of legal agreements, opinions and registers

**Meeting & Event Coordination**:

- Manage stakeholder enquiries and redirect them to relevant team members where necessary.
- Draft and issue Fund reports and communications
- Manage professional stakeholder communications (written and verbal)
- Draft and issue quarterly investor statements
- Engage key stakeholders via ad-hoc communications Support capital raising processes and initiatives

**Project Management**:

- Understand operational policies and procedures
- Coordinate and support ad-hoc projects and initiatives
- Suggest improvements to administration and operations processes
- Implement improved processes
- Support IP development and knowledge management
