Are you someone who can:
- Ensure that customers are provided with world-class perspectives and solutions.- Continually measure the impact of the audit service on the customer base.- Drive the relationships with the customer.- Represent GIA at appropriate client forums and committees.- Add value to the processes and the business of the customers.- Implement and maintain the GIA strategy for all assurance services provided. Align assurance services to the overall GIA strategy.- Build relationships with customers that will result in a long-term win-win partnership.- Deliver Assurance and Consulting Services.- Develop and maintain the audit population and risk universe for the business unit.- Preparation of the annual audit plan, taking into account strategic plans and emerging risks.- Lead and guide a team to ensure appropriate coverage of a variety of risk types with sufficient insight and acumen.- Deliver quality output timely.- Provide input and assist with the preparation and review of the various committee packs.- Identify opportunities and driving an integrated audit approach between process audit and IT audit.-
- Implement and maintain data analytics in the form of Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs) for control testing to ensure efficiencies are introduced in the audit process.- Convert data analytics and implement continuous auditing/continuous monitoring- Review and provide assurance insight into platform based implementations.- CA (SA), CIA, BCom/Honors, BSc/Honors, CISA or relevant financial qualification at a post graduate level.- Completed articles and a minimum of 5 years management experience in an internal or external audit in the banking and financial services sector is a prerequisite.- Experience within banking and the understanding of banking regulatory requirements is beneficial.- IT Audit, project audit and data analytics experience is beneficial.
