**Role Purpose**:
As a PMO you will be the primary point of contact for change management processes. You will assist in the successful delivery of projects and compile reporting to ensure effective and efficient project monitoring. The main focus will be on resourcing within projects and across all service lines within the organisation.

**Key Objectives**:

- Managing resources schedule by maintaining allocated work tasks for department personnel and projects.
- Arranging meetings, conference calls to maintain daily schedule.
- Overseeing/ manage resource allocation of complex projects from inception to completion.
- Meet scheduled requirements for client engagements, assign resources effectively, you'll need to work closely with relevant Sales Team Members, Technical Team Members (developers and testers)
- Make the most of available resources, taking into consideration the skills required, personal preferences of individuals, and the overall engagement risk.
- The individual will also coordinate with project managers, client service partners, senior leadership team to balance workloads and address all project resource needs.
- Oversee administrative support staff, with mínimal supervision on a day-to-day basis, with the ability to independently, setting own priorities.
**Main Responsibilities**:

- Promote and monitor the sharing of resources. Network with other team members across the organisation to address resource needs and deal with any conflicts
- Build relationships with client services, to identify schedule preferences to meet client needs
- Reassign projects to cope with personnel leaving or joining or to meet changing internal and external client needs (to either delay or speed up the project)
- Monitor unassigned resources, and act as primary point of contact for local unassigned staff. Proactively identify assignments for these people
- Fill open places on projects. Proactively identify projects that may be able to release individuals
- Help integrate new hires into teams, explaining the resource management process
- Prioritize staffing decisions based on engagement risk, specialization requirements, timing constraints, staffing continuity
- Identify over - and under-utilized personnel, and bring in additional resources to balance their workload with their peers
- Negotiate with client-services teams to meet priorities for clients
- Consult with Resource Management leaders as needed, to overcome any outstanding issues or conflicts
- Review actual and projected resource utilization for projects. Anticipate availability of people and proactively decrease the time that people spend unassigned, while balancing the workload of all client-serving individuals
- Use scheduling tools to forecast hours needed for a project, track actual utilization, and monitor total headcount.
**Skill Set**:

- Matric, diploma, tertiary education certification
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
- Clerical or administrative experience a plus
- Knowledge of Information Technology terminology
- Possess a curiosity that leads you to understanding why things happen and not to be content with coincidence
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
- English language skills - very strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient at negotiating and managing conflicting schedules / resource allocations
- Proven client service focus, with an ability to resolve issues quickly, with a sense of urgency
- Flexible in adapting to constantly changing priorities
- Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Confident at working independently, with an ability to self-start
- Adept at handling multiple tasks, with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated change agent ability
