A young Trading and Exporting company who services clients in the Indian Ocean Islands is wishing to appoint an Export Controller.
**The main duties of the role will include the following**:
- Handling of export shipments from booking containers, dealing with transporters to completing all the necessary documentation (Waybills, House Waybills)
- Booking of airfreight shipments with a consolidator, ensuring all the goods are packed and labelled correctly on the warehouse floor. Again, handling all the documentation and dealing with the consignee and notify parties.
- Filing away of all shipment files and general office / warehouse housekeeping
- Assisting with various different client RFQs, there will be a lot of sourcing / procuring involved. Buying experience will be a big bonus
- Processing clients’ quotations
- Will be dealing with suppliers and local collections around the country.
- Any other general admin work will be required when necessary
The company is flexible and can allow a day or two work from home policy per week (at the company’s discretion). 7am - 4pm.
This is an opportunity to grow with the company.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
