Join our esteemed pharmaceutical client as a Packaging Technician We're seeking an individual who will excel in the critical role of performing sampling and testing of Packaging Materials. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all sampling and analysis tasks are executed accurately, promptly, and in strict adherence to specified specifications. You must possess a Matric qualification with Science and Mathematics and a Packaging Diploma or equivalent certification. Additionally, we require a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically within a QC lab environment. Basic skills, knowledge, or exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be highly advantageous.
Job Outputs
- Carry out sampling and testing as per relevant SOPs and specifications
- Evaluation of data on GRV and COC for correctness of supplier information and to ensure compliance
- Report all deviations and non-conformances with received packaging materials to Supervisor immediately
- Ensure that all received packaging materials meet the quality standards
- Conduct all tests for compatibility and review test results with the QA and/or Packaging Technologist
- Ensure that all documented activities comply with guidelines and procedures
- Total Quality Management (GMP, GLP and ICH): Ensure that scientific integrity of data is maintained
- Participate in individual performance appraisals against agreed objectives
