Group Schemes Administrator

**Purpose of the position**:
Taking control of and accountability for the administrative-; documentary and data functions related to Group Schemes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Verifying whether all onboarding requirements are fulfilled
- Maintaining onboarding standards
- Load Scheme and it’s details onto Group Scheme system
- Check validity of data before loading onto Group Schemes System
- Monthly reporting (relating to growth, policy holder arrears, scheme arrears, claim ratios and data quality)
- Preparing premium statements
- Calculating and verifying commission amounts reflected on invoices before submitting to manager for final sign-off
- Ensuring that premiums are paid on time and up to date
- Assisting the claims team in verifying the validity of claims, by ensuring that premiums are up to date and that scheme conditions are met
- Maintaining scheme documents and arrangements
- Liaising between scheme and insurer
- Scheme communication and administration
**Requirements**:
- Matric or matric equivalent (essential)
- Relevant certification or qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in an administrative position (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
**Skills and Attributes**:
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong administration, data analysis and customer service skills
- Good understanding of group scheme insurance
- Strong numeracy skills
- Attention to detail
- Deadline driven, efficient and self-motivated
