Somerset West, South Africa Healthcare Private Facility Full time

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Vacuum and dust to ensure general cleanliness;
- Ensure safekeeping and return of all cleaning materials and equipment, and monitor and account for usage;
- Ensure safekeeping of the contents and keys of suites/buildings;
- Report to the Supervisor any defect requiring maintenance, repair, or special attention (e.g. broken window, blocked drain, jammed window, leaking taps, dampness in the house, etc.)
- Liaise with the Supervisor in relation to additional domestic chores (e.g. spring cleaning, washing, and ironing);
- Perform any other general or manual duties as reasonably required to;
- Operate all laundry machines and equipment/stations;
- Sorting dirty laundry;
- Ironing of clean laundry;
- Sorting of clean ironed laundered items;
- Perform any other laundry related duties required by Supervisor;
- Working overtime as operational requirements determine.

**Essential**:

- Secondary Qualification: Grade 10
- Tertiary Qualification: Advantageous but not required
- Language Professional Proficiency (read, write & speak): English
- Sound practical background in housekeeping/laundry
- Understand and adhere to hygiene, and health and safety requirements
- Clean criminal record
