**SQL Database Administrator (DBA)**

**Role Overview**:
The SQL DBA will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the company’s databases. The role includes database planning, development, troubleshooting, and ensuring data availability, backup, and recovery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases.
- Ensure database performance, security, and integrity.
- Perform database tuning, optimization, and indexing.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and manage SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SQL Database Administrator.
- Proficiency in SQL Server (2016 and later), T-SQL.
- SQL server, stored procedures.
- Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
