General Description / Job Purpose:
Assist the Asset Management Team in managing the legal aspects impacting the Red Rocket portfolio of projects from financial close through to construction and operation phases.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advising on and implementing legal aspects of Project and Finance contracts (such as CTAs, PPAs, IAs, SHAs and MSAs).
- Advise the Project Financial Controllers on the legal management of Financing and Project contracts and overseeing achievement of contractual deliverables.
- Reviewing and drafting (where legal expertise required) formal notices and legal correspondence.
- Coordination of legal processes within Projects, as may be required.
- In case of claims, supporting the investigation of claims and the collection of evidence permissible under Project and Finance agreements.
- Managing dispute proceedings related to the Project and Finance contracts.

**Minimum Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree In Law

**Minimum Previous Experience**:

- Three years’ PQE in legal practice or in a similar inhouse role in project finance or banking and finance
- Advantageous: Renewable energy/ IPP / Construction industry experience
- Advantageous: Dispute management and litigation experience
- Advantageous: Corporate and commercial experience

**Other Skills**:

- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical with strong attention to detail.
- Good negotiation and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Good investigation capabilities
- Commercially and solutions driven
- Flexible, with positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
