- Be an active contributor amongst a dynamic team.
- Consistently plan, prepare and present interesting and IEB aligned Business Studies lessons.
- Teach some EMS (Grade 8 or 9)
- Establish a teaching environment that is nurturing and promotes deep learning.
- To serve the community.
- Behave in a professional manner.
- Consistently evaluate, reflect on and refine teaching practice.
- Continuously seek professional development.
- Exemplify qualities of ‘good’, care, effort and kindness.
- To attend all occasions appropriate to the position.
- To meet all appropriate timelines for action.
- To be a Tutor teacher, ensuring effective pastoral care for a group of students.
- Effectively set and mark assessments and all other forms of student evaluation.
- Write informative report comments.
- To undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Head / Deputy Head of Academics fairly determine.

- Previous experience with the IEB programme
- Confidence with use of ICT in teachin
- Appropriate legal right to work in a South African school
- SACE accreditation
- The ability to coach an afternoon activity would be advantageous
