We are looking for a **Lab Administrator** in 7 WARRINGTON ROAD, CLAREMONT, CT, WESTERN CAPE 7708 ZAF. Your mission will be to:
We currently have a vacancy for a Lab Administrator role in our Microbiology Laboratory in our Cape Town Branch.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
**Stock Control**:
Stock take of laboratory consumables
Re-ordering of stock by placing the orders and ensuring timeout delivery of stock
Keep record of Back-Orders and liaising with Lab Management about out of stock items
Building relationships with suppliers
Keep track and report wastage to Laboratory Management

**Maintenance and Calibration of Equipment**:
Update and keep records of the yearly calibration and maintenance of equipment
Obtain quotes, and plan with the suppliers for the calibration and maintenance of equipment
Attend to general laboratory maintenance

**Administration**:
Filing of all documentation related to stock control and equipment maintenance
Sort Supplier Invoices and delivery notes
Liaise with National Laboratory Operations Manager regarding prices and service providers

**YOUR PROFILE**

**Job Requirements**:
No formal qualification required
**Laboratory stock control experience **will be an advantage
1 - 2 years previous experience in stock control is required
Solid organizational and multitasking abilities are key for this role.
This position will suit an individual with a high level of independence and initiative.
Are you a people person? You’ll need work well within a team, and build/maintain good relationships with our suppliers.
Above average front-end computer skills are necessary.
Drivers License (Motor Vehicle)
