The Amdec Group is a privately-owned Real Estate Investment and Development Company with an established reputation as South Africa’s leading developer of new urban precincts (Melrose Arch and Harbour Arch), secure lifestyle estates (Sitari and Westbrook) and Retirement Villages (Evergreen Lifestyle).

The Amdec Group is looking for an all-rounder; an individual with sales experience, and sound knowledge of marketing, reporting, use of technology within sales; or perhaps the other way around, where the individual has strong marketing experience, but has also worked closely with sales in the past, and can therefore influence decisions made to improve the sales funnel.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Insights Analyst, responsibilities will include:

- Contributing to the development of the analytics capabilities within the Marketing Team, with a focus on finding creative solutions to analysis, reporting and measurement.
- Analysing data and developing informed, data-driven strategies, in conjunction with the Marketing Team, to channel effectiveness and business impact, and unlock new opportunities for growth.
- Collect, analyse, evaluate and report on customer, marketing, sales and web behavioural data for the organisation on an adhoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to identify sales patterns and areas of opportunity
- Provide meaningful insights by mining, analysing and interpreting data from different departments, putting them into workable context for the marketing department for the development of new campaigns and strategies
- Developing and presenting learnings from analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations
- Continuously identifying new ways of using customer information to enhance business decisions and increase the understanding of the customer base.
- Performing monthly and quarterly analyses to inform a deeper understanding of the target audience, provide insights and recommendations for driving increased customer acquisition
- Leverage analytical CRM tools to identify, blend, and analyse available customer data sources and information
- Ensure digital platforms are fit for purpose in terms of customer experience and business growth strategies, and provide expert advice on the best analytical tools and software
- Develop and provide business process maps for key processes, including form creation and maintenance, in order to connect business unit needs to CRM functionality and capabilities. Maintain user engagement
- Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practice in campaign and lead management
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support the business and reporting needs of end-users
- Identify possible improvement in sales processes and HubSpot, and work with the Marketing Team to develop and implement new solutions
- Analyse, design, implement, and test CRM enhancements and initiatives
- Manage troubleshooting and documenting solutions for users and process issues
- Monitoring and analysing digital media and marketing trends and reporting on these to the Marketing Team to improve digital campaign strategies and performance
- Turning business questions into functional analyses to test theories.

**Job requirements**
- BSc/BCom Marketing, or relevant degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Business Science
- 5+ years in a data/analytical role
- 2+ years of CRM administration (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Analytics and/or Data Science qualification advantageous
- HubSpot and Google Analytics certifications advantageous
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing platforms across social, display and programmatic platforms
- Experience with analytical and reporting tools, including Google Analytics and DataStudio
- Strong experience in data hygiene processes and data analysis
- Understand local property buying trends, including customer behaviours
- Understanding of channel metrics and reporting such as Google Analytics, Social media, etc.
