**Requirements**:

- B degree
- Eight (8) years' or more extensive Management Experience
- Computer literacy in MS Office

Key Performance Areas
- Provide strategic business enabling services to the Facilities

Management department, set standards, enable good
governance, monitor compliance, develop the business and
meet service delivery objectives
- Direct the Facilities management support function in the City

of Cape Town by providing and managing the facility’s
Business Integration, Enablement and Planning branch
**which includes the following**:

- Business improvement, change management and stakeholder
relationship management
- FM systems and technology
- Building electronics (transversal/citywide function)
- Lead and oversee the formulation of long-term departmental

and operational plans that fulfil the functional and legislative
mandate
- Development, implementation and management of strategies,

approaches, and frameworks giving effect to the functional
mandate of the Facilities Management department
- Direct and guide change and ensure appropriate actions/

change interventions are developed to enable successful
implementation of all transversal initiatives in collaboration
with corporate and departmental functions
- Monitor and evaluate the organisational impact of

interventions, corporate initiatives, and cultural assessments
and design and implement appropriate interventions to
ensure continuous improvement
- Manage and oversee communication and engagement to the

end user, interested and affected parties and ensure
stakeholder needs are addressed in an efficient, effective
and targeted manner, within the overall context and direction
of the City
