Our client is looking to employ an experienced Assistant Catering Manager to join the team.
- Plans Menus and sets prices with Catering Manager
- Purchase supplies and ensure that these are properly issued, used and accounted for
- Carries out weekly stock-take and food rotation procedures
- Allocate duties to kitchen staff and supervise them in cooking, give technical advice and guidance when necessary and personally prepares dishes
- Inspects dishes for quality and attravtiveness before serving.
- Deals with complaints about food in accordance with company procedure
- Ensure compliance with statutory company regulations concerning the hygiene and saftey of staff,food and equipment
- Maintain records relating to food production activities and supplies information as required bythe catering manager

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R17,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Philippi, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- Assistant Catering Manager: 3 years (required)
- Chef: 3 years (required)
- Plan menus: 3 years (required)
