Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods at each stage of production.
- Ensure products comply with established quality standards and specifications from start to finish.
- Document and report inspection results, identifying any deviations or defects.
- Conduct audits on production processes to verify adherence to quality procedures.
- Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
- Conduct various tests (e.g., visual, mechanical, functional) on products at different stages to ensure quality.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards throughout the production process.
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions
- Ensure all quality records are accurate and up to date.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality control
- Promote a collaborative environment by encouraging open communication and sharing best practices among team members to enhance overall quality.
- Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
- Support production teams in understanding and implementing quality requirements.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Mentor junior quality control staff and provide ongoing support.
- Identify areas for quality improvement within the entire production process
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts for quality issues
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and defects that arise during production.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address recurring quality problems.
- Evaluate and monitor the quality of raw materials and components from suppliers
- Document and report on trial findings, ensuring thorough communication of results and implications for production.
- Analyze trial results, identify potential issues, and provide actionable recommendations for product improvements.
