- The Risk Management Committee Chairperson is an integral element of the governance, risk and compliance within the organisation.- The Risk Management Committee Chairperson reports via the Audit and Risk Committee to the Accounting Authority and provides oversight in relation to all aspects of the enterprise risk management, combined assurance, compliance, anti-corruption, and fraud as well as business continuity management, including but not limited to the following:
- Review risk management framework, policy, charter, strategy and implementation plan- Monitoring implementation of risk management framework, policy, charter, strategy, and implementation plan- Provide guidance on integration of risk management into planning, monitoring and reporting processes- Assist in reviewing risk management action plans to be instituted and ensure compliance to the plan- Provide advice guidance on setting risk appetite and review risk appetite, tolerance levels and antifraud measures-
**Inherent Requirements**
- A minimum of a Post Graduate Degree in Internal Auditing/Auditing or Risk Management (Proof of qualification to be submitted)- A Master’s Degree in Auditing / Risk Management or Business Administration will be an added advantage-
- Strategic Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Auditing, Anti-Fraud and Corruption (CV submission must demonstrate years of experience)- Preferably in the public service-
- A Risk Management Committee and/or Audit Committee (CV submission must demonstrate years of experience)-
