**ROLE DESCRIPTION**:
Responsible for maintaining all hydraulic and pneumatic systems to the manufacturing standard and constantly improving all systems to minimise downtime on any system. To maintain all hydraulics, transport equipment and Disa Matic Machine. KEY

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for maintaining all hydraulic units.
- Responsible for maintaining all Disa matic machines.
- Perform checklist inspection on all plant hydraulic equipment on a daily and monthly basis.
- Reports regarding spares used the previous day.
- Compliance with company’s SHE policies and objectives.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Grade 12 (essential).
- Trade test - Fitter / Fitter and Turner / Millwright (essential).
- Driver’s license - code EB (essential).
- Basic hydraulic course / pneumatic certificate / Advanced Hydraulics (Advantageous).

**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Must have strong knowledge and understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Must be able to read and understand hydraulic drawings.
- Previous experience on Disa MK3/4 machines with hydraulic AMC would be an advantage. Basic boiler making and welding skills required.
- Must be a team player and capable of thinking outside the box.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Punctual and self-disciplined.
- Consistent quality workmanship.
- Must be able to do standby and work overtime.
- Must be medically fit to work on heights and confined space.
- Must have own transport.
