**Key Responsibilities and Duties includes but not limited to**:

- Performing legal due diligences and performing related reports
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, agreements and related project documents arising from transactions
- Drafting of opinions
- Representing clients in meetings
- Handling multiple legal matters simultaneously and independently
- Building the profile of the practice area
- Managing and delivering high quality client services
- Client engagement and management
- Prospecting for new clients through marketing, networking, and writing articles
- Track matters and invoice clients
- Reporting on hours spent on each matter

**Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes)**:

- LLB Degree
- Admitted Attorney
- Minimum of 5 years post admission experience
- Experience in some or all of the following practice areas:

- Mergers and acquisitions
- Corporate finance/ Project finance
- Corporate governance
- Deal and transaction structuring and/or restructuring
- BEE transactions
- Consortiums and joint venture
- Takeover filings
- Contract negotiation
- Sound working knowledge of GhostPractice
- Familiar with collaboration tools Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom
- Budgeting skills
- Persuasive writing skills
- Time management skills
- Emotional intelligence
- Interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills
- Presentation skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Research skills
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Project management skills
