- We are looking to recruit a Supervisor to work within the Finance (Accounts Payable) department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Management Accountant.**Job description**

**Purpose and Objectives**
- Supervises the duties of Trade reconciliations clerks in the reconciliation of trade supplier accounts and investigation of unresolved queries. Ensuring that the accounts of all suppliers of frontshop products for resale are reconciled and payments are made within terms whilst ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are documented, implemented and internal controls are adhered to; identifying and reporting any inefficiencies, risks and deviations
- Ensuring that all reconciling differences are resolved within KPA deadlines
- Performance management and training of staff in order for the team to deliver the objectives
- Submitting accurate weekly and monthly reports on invoices, credit notes and returns outstanding and debit balances
- Testing and sign off of any testing relating to projects directly impacting Clicks Trade Creditors
- Authorised signatory for releasing Accounts Payable payments on the banking platform
- Preparation of monthly cashflow relating to Trade Creditors and explaining any variances to actuals
- Ensuring that accurate payments are handed to payment department 4 days in advance of payments being processed
- Preparation of balance sheet recons monthly and resolving reconciling differences within agreed KPA deadlines

**Minimum requirements**

**Education and Experience**
- 3 year degree/ diploma (Essential)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Management role within an accountant’s payable environment(preferably in retail)
- 5 years General Management experience
- Experience with Legislation for SARS invoicing requirements
- Knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures

- A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (Understanding V-Lookup, Pivot and Functions an advantage) (Essential)
