A position has become available in the Marketing Department at the Head Office, Cape Town for a Consumer Insights Manager.

The Consumer Insights Manager is a key role and will establish a centre of expertise within the marketing function. The person in this role will bring in the latest trends, consumer and industry insights that will propel the innovation funnel, drive agile responses to customer needs and enhance decision-making. The role will also be central in the newly-formed Innovation Centre where strategic group initiatives will be incubated using the latest tools and methodologies.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric Certificate
- Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
- 5- 10-year Management experience/ similar role.
- Skilled in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions.
- Familiar with putting together data from multiple sources to tell a story.
- You have strong knowledge of business visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Strategic thinker with good communication and presentation skills -the ability to demystify and simplify the complex.
- Collaborative and enjoy partnering with others.
- Demonstrate a proactive leadership style.
- Initiating projects or supporting radical change programs

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Developing actionable strategies from customer insights
- Bringing the consumer perspective to marketing decision making by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations
- Build research agency partnerships and manage them for the execution of research projects
- Identifying the best methodologies and providing oversight on the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure all available information is generated to support business needs
- Leveraging research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gaining internal support to act upon these opportunities
- Conveying analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports
- Support the CMO in the strategic business planning cycle
- Tracking emerging trends in the food & restaurant industry
- Lead consumer insight and research capability for the Innovation Centre
- Preparing quarterly trend presentations for the group spanning consumer, QSR, casual dining, franchising omni channels, technology etc
