**The Role**
We are recruiting a People Data & Analytics Manager to join the People Operations Team. The incumbent will be responsible for managing, analyzing and providing insights to help the organization leverage all people related data. As a core member of the People Operations Team, the People Data & Analytics Manager will report to the Group Head of People and work closely with Regional Employee Experience Directors and the Finance team to ensure a seamless payroll administration process is done.
The role will be in Nairobi, Kenya or Johannesburg, South Africa.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Use business intelligence tools to explore and organise people data to provide insights to support initiatives that drive the people strategy
- Proactively identify trends, relationships and opportunities that help the people team develop targeted intervention strategies
- Gather qualitative and quantitative data from many internal sources to inform insights, results, and the employee experience
- Understand and build metrics aligned to business outcomes related to delivery, utilization, and workforce planning
- Track, analyze, and report monthly people/demographic key performance metrics and related data to evaluate progress towards the goals
- Create data visualisations and use storytelling techniques to inform decision-making on people issues
- External Benchmarking to ensure we remain competitive in our markets
- Generally, uphold the values of the Company
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- 5-7 yrs experience in people data & analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience setting up a people analytics function
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst with deep analytical skills and the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant data set with accuracy
- Ability to develop and present reports for all levels of management
- Experience working in a multicultural organization
- Superior communication skills in English, both written and oral
- Relationship builder who is comfortable managing the interests of multiple stakeholders
- Able to work in a complex, high paced environment, and handle ambiguity effectively
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent attention to details
- Must be process oriented
