GPTech is looking for a **Graphics Animator**: to provide contract support to the United States Agency for International Development’s Power Africa program. Power Africa is a U.S. Government-led partnership with a goal to add more than 30,000 megawatts of new electricity generation capacity and connect 60 million new homes and businesses in sub-Saharan Africa to power by 2030.

GPTech assists the Power Africa Coordinator’s Office with a wide range of communication needs. The Graphics Animator will join our creative team, bringing visuals to life with engaging animations and supporting static design needs. In addition to animation expertise, this role will serve as a backup to our head graphics designer when required, making strong design skills essential.

**Responsibilities**:
- Create high-quality, visually captivating animations for social media, web, and video content.- Develop storyboards and animated assets that align with brand guidelines and enhance audience engagement.- Collaborate with the communications team to develop briefings and bring concepts to life through motion.- Step in to manage graphics design projects when the head graphics designer is unavailable.

**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in graphics design and animation, preferably within an agency or corporate environment- Proficiency in animation and design software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop- Strong portfolio, showcasing both static and animated work- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting- Exceptional attention to details- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
