Our Client is going through an exciting data driven digital transformation journey.

You will be assisting the commercial team, by providing insights into campaigns, as well as identifying and creating new audiences that are unique to Arena Holdings.

The Senior Data Analyst would act as a mentor and coach to the editorial and commercial analyst while supporting the Head of data with planning and execution of the daily running of the data team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analysing data both online and offline to provide insights and recommendations across multiple areas of Arena Holdings
- Develop data measurement frameworks and identifying key business metrics
- Improving CRO across all properties
- Performing data analysis, using SQL or BiqQuery when required
- Creation of data solutions that enable a non-technical person to access data and insights

**Skills**:

- Google 360 and GA4
- Google Tag Manager
- Data Studio and connectors like Supermetrics
- Able to write and implement custom metrics, dimensions and data layers
- Able to implement advanced e-commence tracking
- App and Web Tracking (Firebase)
- Google Optimise
- Advanced working knowledge of SQL and BiqQuery
- Working knowledge of GCP
- Familiar with POPPY and GDPR procedures during data handling
- Creating and executing a data measurement framework and tracking plans
- Meta Business Manager including creation of ads, events and pixels
- Microsoft Suite
- Good understanding of JavaScript, Html5 and CSS3

**Education and Experience**
- Relevant degree or experience.
- Google Analytics Certified advantageous
- 5-7 years of experience working as a data or digital analyst.
- Previous work experience at a media publishing or digital advertising agency
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Familiar with agile working methodologies(Kanban and Scrum)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship

**Salary**: Up to R50,000.00 per month
