About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced event and activation setup manager to oversee the successful planning and execution of event setups and activations. This role involves managing logistics, coordinating with venues, and ensuring all event elements are delivered, installed, and collected as per plan. You will be working closely with the venue management, event teams, and suppliers to guarantee seamless activation setups.
Key responsibilities
Conduct thorough venue/outlet site recces to assess setup requirements.
Develop detailed logistic plans for event and activation setups, ensuring timely delivery and collection of all activation elements.
Communicate effectively with venue managers/owners to confirm set times, strike times, and venue-specific guidelines.
Coordinate the setup and breakdown of point-of-sale (POS) materials and activation elements at venues.
Manage and maintain a comprehensive inventory of event materials and activation elements.
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, creative, and production) to ensure that all event elements align with the activation plan.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during setup and breakdown.
**Requirements**:
Minimum of four years’ experience in event setup, activations, or a similar role.
Strong logístical planning and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with venue managers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A valid driver’s license is a must.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel to various locations as required.
