Assistant Manager

Stones Pool Bar is looking for an **Assistant manager** to work in its upmarket entertainment venue in the northern suburbs.
**General Purpose**
Plan, direct and oversee all bar operations including managing staff, ensuring product and service standards are met and implementing and maintaining procedures for maximum operating efficiency.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- performance manage staff
- able to work weekends, public holidays and late shifts
- direct and manage staff members to meet standards and objectives
- ensure staff operate within company policies
- resolve customer complaints promptly
- monitor cleanliness and hygiene of bar area
- oversee accurate cash-up procedures and ensure necessary paperwork is complete
- ensure adherence to stock control procedures
- monitor and order supplies
- liaise with suppliers and sales representatives
- organise promotional activities
**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in the bar industry would be advantageous as would be prior knowledge and understanding of cash ups, float checks, stock control, staff management etc.
- In possession of own reliable transport.
- The necessary POS training will be provided.
- The salary will be commensurate with experience
