Executive level finance professional sought for a successful business in the technology space. This business has experienced good growth and is looking to add a senior leader to their established finance team. Great team and company culture, where you’ll find teams who are close-knit.

This role will suit someone who is people focused, with a keen interest or experience in the SME space. This executive team seeks a qualified CA(SA) profile with no less than 10+ years’ experience, and a passionate people leader who enjoys building up and managing finance teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of the end-to-end financial reporting
- Lead and drive financial and operational financial changes as required
- Management, motivation and mentoring of the finance team
- Driving financial strategy as required across departments
- Ensuring compliance and accounting practices are adhered to
- Analysis of risks and driving recommendations which affect the business
- Form part of the executive team, working together on future growth strategies
- Analysis and interpretation of management reports
- Preparation and review of budgets
- Ensure accurate, timeous preparation of management packs
- Prepare, review and update finance department policies and strategic policies
- Responsible for relevant external stakeholder engagement i.e., auditors, banks, advisors etc.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of CA(SA) qualified plus no less than 10+ years' post qualified experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an executive finance position
- Excellent leadership qualities, with a passion for building good finance teams and structures
- Strong on current technologies, and embracing technology to improve systems and processes
- Excellent project, time and people management skills
- Professional and warm, with a flexible approach
- High levels of business acumen
- Strategic thinker, who is innovative and can drive strategy while still being hands-on and working through your team
- High levels of integrity, EQ, trust and work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong on collaboration and idea sharing
