**Roaming Visual Merchandiser**

- We are looking for a creative retail Roaming Visual Merchandiser to increase sales, get buyer’s attention and to provide an excellent in-store experience.
- The goal is to use visual merchandising to convert window shoppers into prospects, drive branding and sales objectives and maximize profitability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement the visual merchandising strategy in an area \ number of stores.
- To be able to travel in an area \ number of stores.
- Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store
- Implement window displays, marketing, interior displays, floor plans and promotional displays
- Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market
- Visit stores and train sales teams in-store visual merchandising techniques, concepts and principles.
- Monitor costs and work within budget
- Oversee the production and brief staff on arranging displays
- Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes
- Assemble or dismantle visual displays in windows or in-store
- Carry out 'comp (comparison) shops' to maintain awareness of other retailers' visual merchandising concepts
- Lead and motivate teams to complete displays to tight deadlines
- Seek feedback from colleagues and customers on the visual impact of displays and of the changes implemented.
- Conduct research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market feature.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Visual Manager
- Visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio
- Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilisation
- Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Creative and innovative thinker
- Ability to analyse sales merchandising reports and survey results
- Code B driving license (position comes with a company vehicle)
- To be able to travel in an area \ number of stores.
- Matric (A tertiary qualification would be advantageous)

- a drivers licence - this is required for driving to different stores (Position comes with a company vehicle)
