**Description**:
Our client, a hospital group who has provided health care services in Kwa-Zulu Natal based in Stanger are looking to recruit a Theatre Unit Manager for their private hospital.

The main purpose of the job is to ensure that the theatre conforms to all medico-legal aspects relative to the health care industry and to ensure the highest quality of services are provided to all participating doctors, patients, and staff. Ensure stock is correctly recorded, received and appropriately stored and ensure the smooth running of the nurse’s station. Communication of a professional level with doctors, patients, visitors, and general hospital staff is essential.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

- BCur/Diploma in Nursing
- Post Basic qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing
- 4+ years’ experience as a Unit Manager essential
- Private hospital experience would be an added advantage
- Proof of registration with the S.A.N.C.
- Ability to maintain excellent standards and service levels
- The capacity to recognise development areas in others and support them to facilitate personal development through coaching
- Excellent Leadership qualities and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Build sound working relationships with multidisciplinary team
- Accurate record keeping and the management of stock
- Evaluation, intervention and resolution of patient complaints and queries
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Conduct regular inspections
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures at all times

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month
