**Main purpose of the role**
- The QSHE Manager is responsible for the coordination of the Quality & Compliance capability of the company in support of the company’s global & regional quality requirements. In addition to the above he/she is responsible for implementation and execution of the Business Units Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, Procedures and relevant Standards. He/she will further need to ensure that the Business Units’ Health, Safety & Environmental Policies & Procedures are site specific and that sites are complying with all statutory requirements (including but not limited to ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018) where applicable.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Manage and coordinate the QSHE/Pharma QMS internal audit schedule. Manage peers to ensure that all agreed upon outputs are delivered (i.e. Branch Operations Assessments, ISO certifications, Health & Safety GDP Audits at agreed level)
- National roll-out, implementation and co-ordination of the National initiatives e.g. DDRC, CAR, DSV Sigma, AQP, GDP (Validaide compliance) and Training.
- Ensure all legal documentation requirements are maintained and updated.
- Identify & manage CIP opportunities through DSV Sigma process and provide QHSE improvement proposals.
- Implement, monitor and manage CAR. Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensure that any certification requirements are complied with.
- Process Mapping, publishing, administration, approvals, work instructions, value chain & support functions including managing Document Data Records Control Numbering & Naming convention.
- OEC roll-out of new sites, monthly updating and content review / implementation.
- Schedule and assist branches in preparing for Operations Assessments, internal audits & ISO audits.
- Execute the audit schedule and publish audit results against Business Unit targets.
- Conduct QSHE/Pharama QMS/GDP training & co-ordination (all levels) including but not limited to 5S, QMS Orientation & other foundational quality & HSE elements.
- Communication, implementation and co-ordination of any QMS/GDP changes (documentation, processes, policies etc.). Sustain and improve all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the QMS/GDP Management System to be compliant with ISO45001/2018 and ISO 14001/ 2004 standards, and WHO requirements.
- Ensure compliance with International and local Health, Safety & Environmental laws & by i.r.o. Health, Safety & Environment.
- Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on new sites, design, propose and implement risk mitigation measures.
- To increase QSHE/DSV Pharma QMS awareness at all levels within the organization.
- Monitor QHSE representatives & Branch Managers in executing safe work practices and adherence to standards.
- Assist local management in the preparation and presentation of QHSE meetings.
- Responsible for preparing written weekly and monthly QHSE reports, statistics and presentations related to QHSE performance.
- Compile and publish the monthly QSHE Report (Quality progress; safety stats; Risk Audit progress; CAR and CIP progress and regional KPIs).
- Investigate the root cause HSE complaints put forward by staff members, customers, clients and contractors
- Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents, near misses, Non-conformances, Deviations and CAR; review and analyze these and make corrective action recommendations.
- Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions.
- Ensure implementation of emergency procedures (BCP & EDP).
